Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Orbital ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Orbital. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Orbital a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it within the Service.

You're solely responsible for content you publish. Don't post content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful.

5. Events & participation

Orbital is a platform that connects organizers and participants. We do not organize or supervise events. Organizers are responsible for the safety, legality, and conduct of their events. Participants attend events at their own risk.

6. Paid plans & subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Sponsorship boosts are one-time purchases tied to a specific event and run for the period purchased.

7. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial periods unless required by law. Boost purchases are non-refundable once activated.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service; (b) reverse-engineer or scrape it; (c) impersonate others; (d) use the Service for spam or unsolicited commercial messages; (e) circumvent verification or moderation.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbital disclaims all warranties.

11. Limitation of liability

Orbital's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the canton of Vaud.
